ABOUT STRIKE TECHNOLOGIES

Situated in Johannesburg, South Africa, Strike Technologies (Pty) Ltd was founded in 1987 and is today a leading developer, manufacturer and distributor of medium to high voltage Protection Relays, Surge Protection Equipment, Industrial Earth Leakage Relays, Energy and Demand Metering and Protection Test Equipment.

Strike Technologies forms part of the Powertech and Altron group of companies. Initially focused exclusively on the South African market, Strike has also taken time to develop a growing measure of international business in recent years. The company now earns a very significant portion of its revenue from export, currently trading actively in 26 countries.

In 1994 the company launched the Enermax™, a range of programmable Energy and Demand meters that have proved to be a spectacular success and have shown that South African expertise is capable of applying technology to produce products that are equal to the world’s best.

Strike then launched the New Enermax Plus™ programmable Energy and Demand meter. This meter caters for metering within industrial applications, municipalities, mining, utilities and other 3 phase applications. It includes a wide range of new features, including windows compatible software and innovative communication and networking options.
The company was further strengthened by acquiring all rights to ZORC™, a unique surge suppressor for medium and high voltage motors, dry type transformers and generators. The product is patented internationally.

Strike Technologies also has sole distribution rights in Southern Africa for the Protecta™ range of Protection Relays as well as the RES™ range of Injection and Protection Test equipment.
